The new Nirvana Crown earbuds introduce India’s first truly functional interactive charging case, featuring a rotatable control dial, haptic feedback and RGB lighting, alongside hybrid noise cancellation and spatial audio for a premium listening experience.
India’s audio and wearables brand boAt has unveiled Nirvana Crown, a new flagship true wireless stereo (TWS) product that aims to redefine how users interact with their earbuds. Positioned as a step beyond incremental audio upgrades, the Nirvana Crown introduces what the company calls India’s first interactive charging case designed to function as a control hub rather than a passive accessory.
At the centre of the new design is Sonic A.R.C (Advanced Rotational Crown), a design-patented system that integrates a rotatable control dial, a multifunction button, haptic feedback and customisable RGB LEDs into the charging case. The feature allows users to adjust volume, manage music playback and handle calls directly from the case, reducing dependence on smartphones.
Interactive case redefines control
The charging case features a smooth rotating crown with tactile haptics, designed for precise volume control and enhanced grip. A multifunction centre button enables call management and play-pause controls, while users can customise LED indicators and haptic intensity. A circular LED ring provides real-time visual feedback, reflecting changes such as volume adjustments or mode switches.
The case also doubles as a remote camera shutter on supported smartphones, enabling hands-free selfies and group photos. A built-in case lock function prevents accidental inputs when carried in pockets or bags, reinforcing the phone-free control experience boAt is targeting with the Nirvana Crown.
Focus on immersive audio and calls
Beyond its distinctive case design, Nirvana Crown focuses heavily on audio performance. The earbuds come equipped with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation up to 50dB, aimed at blocking ambient noise in busy environments. Real-time Spatial Audio adds a surround-sound effect for music, movies and gaming.
For voice clarity, the earbuds use six microphones supported by AI-powered ENx technology to isolate speech and suppress background noise during calls. Additional features include multipoint connectivity for seamless switching between devices, in-ear detection for automatic play and pause, and a dedicated low-latency BEAST™ Mode for gaming.
Customisation, battery and availability
Through the boAt Hearables App v2.0, users can customise EQ settings, remap controls, adjust haptics, personalise LED patterns, manage ANC modes, track battery levels and receive OTA updates from a single interface.
The Nirvana Crown delivers up to 40 hours of playback without ANC and up to 25 hours with ANC enabled, along with fast charging support that provides three hours of playback in ten minutes. The earbuds are IPX4 rated for sweat and splash resistance and support Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair and voice assistants from both Google and Apple.
The Nirvana Crown is available in Blazing Red, Gunmetal Gray and Sapphire Blue, launching at a special introductory price of ₹2,499 for the first seven days, after which it will retail at ₹2,799 across major online platforms and select offline stores.
