NDTV Convergence has been trying to reach out to millions of digitally engaged youth audience who use their mobile devices to take and share photographs across all social platforms. As part of this initiative, NDTV has launched their latest mobile app – “Khachack”. The app can be downloaded for free at www.khachack.com.
Suparna Singh, CEO, NDTV Convergence, said, Khachack comes from a team committed to developing apps which have great user experience. We wanted to speak to a large young audience that puts their phones and Bollywood at the top of their priority list. We also have posters from lots of Southern movies. We have big plans for the digital entertainment space.
The key feature of the app is that it allows the user to aggregate, view edit and share pictures from multiple social networking sites. With this app, one can insert its photo into the poster of a film to “star” in that movie. For doing that, the user needs to select the movie poster, click, crop, add effects and filters and share with friends across various social networks.
